Dr. Annie Andrews Releases First TV Ad, “Eraser”
Today, Lowcountry pediatrician and Democratic nominee for South Carolina’s First Congressional District Dr. Annie Andrews released her first TV ad of the general election, "Eraser."
The ad will begin running immediately on broadcast and cable in the Charleston and Savannah media markets.
The ad focuses on the gun violence epidemic and highlights the consequences it has on communities. “As a doctor, I’ve seen [this bullet] erase 10th birthdays, family vacations, school dances, and so much more,” Dr. Andrews says in the ad.
In the ad, Dr. Andrews takes aim at her opponent for failing to take action to address the gun violence epidemic, which is the leading cause of death for children in America. “Nancy Mace refuses to do anything to stop it. I will…because protecting our kids is my top priority.”

“This is a bullet from an AR 15, but it's also an eraser. As a doctor, I've seen it erase 10th birthdays, family vacations, school dances, and so much more. Because guns are erasing our kids. They're the number one killer of children in America. And Nancy Mace refuses to do anything to stop it. I will. I'm Dr. Annie Andrews and I approve this message because protecting our kids is my top priority.”
